london - Sixty women have accused Egyptian businessman Mohamed Al Fayed of sexual abuse, with incidents reportedly taking place at his various company offices, including Harrods.

Sixty women have come forward alleging sexual abuse by Egyptian businessman Mohamed Al Fayed, known for owning Harrods, Fulham FC, and the Ritz in Paris. The abuse, revealed by a BBC investigation, occurred among employees at his companies. Victims claimed they were called to his office where the abuse took place.

The incidents allegedly occurred over many years within the company premises, with Harrods accused of turning a blind eye. The department store has issued apologies for failing to protect its employees.

Lawyers for the victims stated, "The response has been overwhelming," and anticipate more women speaking out. Al Fayed is also known as the father of Dodi Al Fayed, who was in a relationship with Princess Diana and died with her in a 1997 car crash in Paris.
