canada - Canadian man with peanut allergy dies after oral sex encounter with another man who had recently eaten peanut butter.
Tragic Incident Involving Peanut Allergy and Oral Sex
Canadian doctors report a case involving two adult men who met through a dating app. One of them had a history of severe peanut allergy. The encounter involved oral sex without a condom, during which the man with the allergy quickly deteriorated.
The victim went into shock and despite efforts by ambulance personnel, he passed away in the hospital the following day. This incident, documented in the Official Journal of the Canadian Society of Allergy in 2021, is the first recorded case involving two men.
Studies cited by the doctors reveal that traces of peanuts can remain in saliva for up to six hours after consumption. Allergic reactions can occur even after brushing teeth, rinsing the mouth, and using gum.
