Man Survives Shooting by Dog in Tennessee
In an unusual incident in Tennessee, a man was shot by his 1-year-old pitbull named Oreo while in bed with a woman. The dog accidentally triggered the gun, grazing the man's left thigh.
The man was taken to the hospital for a check-up, and the woman left the house with the weapon after the incident.
The woman described Oreo as a playful dog who enjoys jumping around. She mentioned that the gun went off suddenly when the pitbull leaped onto the bed.
The Tennessee Department of Safety and Justice advises gun owners to handle weapons as if they are loaded and understand their operation before use.
This is not the first such incident in the US. In 2018, a man in Iowa was shot by his dog while playing together. The dog accidentally triggered the gun in the man's waistband, injuring his leg.
