cambridge - 26-year-old man convicted of murdering BBC sport commentator's family in England. Details of the crime and court verdict.

Man Convicted of Murdering BBC Sport Commentator's Family

A 26-year-old man, Kyle Clifford, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing Carol Hunt (61) and her daughters Louise (25) and Hannah (28) in Bushey, England.

The crime took place in July 2024 when Clifford, the ex-partner of one of the daughters, murdered the mother first and then used a crossbow to kill the sisters as they returned home one by one. He was also found guilty of tying up and raping Louise before her death, following her decision to end their relationship weeks prior.

The judge delivered the verdict in Clifford's absence as he refused to attend the court session in Cambridge. The judge described Clifford as a jealous man filled with self-pity, showing complete disrespect towards women.
