Attack on Hunt's Family
A 26-year-old man has confessed to the murder of the family of British commentator John Hunt. The attack occurred in July last year in the victims' home in Bushey. One of the women managed to call the police at the time, who then found her severely injured. The suspect fled and was later found injured in a cemetery. The former soldier allegedly tried to commit suicide with a crossbow.
Clifford initially denied involvement but has now admitted to the murders. He is said to have tied up his ex-girlfriend Louise (25) with duct tape and then shot her with the crossbow. Her sister Hannah (28) was also shot. Their 61-year-old mother Carol, the wife of commentator Hunt, had stab wounds all over her body.
The suspect continues to claim that he is not guilty of rape, for which he is also being prosecuted.
