French footballer Kylian Mbappé has stated that he is not concerned about the outcome of a possible rape case in Stockholm. In an interview with the program Clique of Canal+, Mbappé mentioned that he has not received a summons and does not believe he is involved in the case. He expressed his willingness to cooperate if invited and trusts in the justice system to do its job. The Swedish Public Prosecution Service confirmed two months ago that an investigation is ongoing regarding a rape case in Stockholm, with speculations linking Mbappé to the incident. However, no official names have been disclosed by the authorities. The alleged incident took place on October 10th in a hotel, where the victim reportedly sought medical assistance. Mbappé, who was in Stockholm at the time due to an injury, clarified his stance in a 50-minute interview to address recent misinformation circulating about him. The forward, who transferred from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid last summer, also reaffirmed his admiration for the French national team, expressing his unchanged love and commitment despite not featuring for the team in the past six months. 'The French national team has always been my top priority. I miss it because it's been a while since I last played, but I have never abandoned our national team,' Mbappé stated.
