Iran Showcases Underground Missile Facility in Video Release
iran - Iran's Revolutionary Guards reveal a previously undisclosed underground missile facility in a newly released video, with top military officials inspecting the site.
Iran's Revolutionary Guards have unveiled a video showcasing an undisclosed underground missile facility, featuring top military officials including Commander Hossein Salami and Air Force Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh inspecting the site. The video, aired on Iranian state television, shows the two Iranian military officials touring the labyrinth-like facility and examining the missiles reportedly used in Iran's operations against Israel under the campaign named 'Real Promise'.
Commander Salami, addressing the troops upon entering the facility where Israeli and US flags are laid on the ground, stated, 'The enemy thought our production power had decreased, but our missile power's growth rate continues. The capacity and capabilities of missiles are increasing every day in terms of quality, quantity, and design.' Hajizadeh described the facility as a 'volcano ready to explode.'
The footage, as per state media, allegedly only reveals 10% of the facility's total area, with claims that it is where 'new special missiles' are being manufactured.
Moreover, Iran's recent military exercise series named 'Power' continued over the weekend, including Fordo and Khondab nuclear facilities. The exercises reportedly included real combat scenarios for air defense systems and radar systems under actual battle conditions. The ongoing exercises, expected to last until the end of March, are perceived as a preparatory measure in response to rumors that Israel may target the country's nuclear facilities following the commencement of Donald Trump's presidency in the US.
