iran - Iran strongly criticizes French President Macron for labeling Iran as a major strategic and security issue in the Middle East, stating the accusations are baseless and contradictory.

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ismail Bekayi, responded strongly to French President Emmanuel Macron's recent statements, where Iran was referred to as a significant strategic and security concern in the Middle East. Bekayi characterized Macron's remarks as unfounded and inconsistent.

Bekayi emphasized that Iran's nuclear activities are conducted under the strict and continuous supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency, within the framework of international law. He rejected Macron's claims and called them hypocritical and misleading.

Bekayi also highlighted that the Israeli regime poses a real threat to regional peace and stability, criticizing the regime's actions and the support it receives from the US and France.

Furthermore, Bekayi dismissed allegations regarding Iran's involvement in the Ukraine crisis as baseless, stating that such claims distort the truth and attempt to conceal the destructive roles of the actual culprits.

Responding to Macron's concerns about Iran's relations with African countries, Bekayi emphasized that countries with a history of colonial exploitation cannot dictate terms to independent African nations.

Iran's relations with African countries are based on mutual respect and cooperation, in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter and international law.
