iran, syria - Iranian Foreign Ministry urges citizens to refrain from traveling to Syria amid reports of entry and import restrictions.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Statement

In a weekly press briefing, spokesperson Ismail Bekayi addressed the foreign policy agenda and regional developments, advising against travel to Syria for Iranian citizens.

Bekayi emphasized that if the European parties to the nuclear deal activate the "trigger mechanism" to reinstate UN sanctions, Iran would consider its options in response.
