Fire Incident at Gimhae International Airport
In Gimhae International Airport in South Korea, a fire broke out on an Air Busan Airlines Airbus A321 passenger plane bound for Hong Kong. The fire started at the tail of the plane just before takeoff, prompting a response from multiple fire brigades and ambulances. 169 passengers and 7 crew members were evacuated using emergency slides. Seven people were reported injured in the incident. While the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation, it is speculated that it may have originated from a passenger's portable charger in the cabin baggage. South Korea's Acting President and Finance Minister Choi Sang-mok has instructed authorities to investigate the incident.
