Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a phone call with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to discuss the bilateral relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, as well as regional and global issues. During the call, Erdoğan emphasized the commitment of both countries to further developing cooperation in all fields based on the "two states, one nation" understanding. He also expressed Turkey's full support for achieving lasting peace in the South Caucasus region and affirmed Turkey's continuous support for Azerbaijan.
