According to state media reports, the 21-year-old suspect, who is a student at the institution, allegedly acted out of anger after being informed that he would not receive his diploma due to failing an exam. He was also reportedly dissatisfied with the terms of his internship.
This incident comes shortly after a deadly car crash in the city of Zhuhai, China, where 35 people were killed and 43 others injured after a driver drove into a crowd near a sports stadium. The arrested suspect in this case was said to be upset about arrangements related to his divorce.
