washington - Incoming US President Donald Trump has announced that he has appointed his personal lawyer, Alina Habba, as his presidential advisor.
In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated that Habba has demonstrated 'unwavering loyalty' in various criminal and civil cases as part of his legal team. He also described her as a 'tireless advocate for justice.'
'As an American of Middle Eastern descent, she has become a role model for women in law and politics,' Trump further commented on Habba.
Habba represented the former president in the case brought against him by columnist E. Jean Carroll, where he was fined over $83 million.
