washington - Future US President-Elect Donald Trump announced his appointment of Sean Duffy as the Transport Minister. Duffy, a former representative of Wisconsin state and current presenter at Fox News, will oversee transportation policies including aviation, railways, public transport, and automobiles.
President-Elect Trump revealed his choice in a statement, stating that Duffy will manage a budget of approximately $110 billion and inherit significant funding left over from the Biden administration's $1 trillion infrastructure bill.
Trump also mentioned his intention to reverse the strict emission regulations imposed by the Biden government earlier this year.
