9 Million Year Old Shark Fossils Discovered in Peru

In Lima, Peru, fossils of a wide-toothed white shark, estimated to be 9 million years old and extinct, are on display at the Institute of Geology, Mining, and Metallurgy.

Alongside the shark, fossilized teeth of a crocodile and a megalodon are also part of the showcased specimens.
