lockyer valley, brisbane, australia - The death of Frances Crawford, the wife of a decorated pilot, is now being investigated as a murder case after initially being considered an accident.

Frances Elizabeth Crawford, a 49-year-old psychologist and mother of three, was found dead next to her lawnmower on their estate in Lockyer Valley, west of Brisbane. Her husband, Robert Crawford, a distinguished pilot of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), called emergency services in the middle of the night on July 30, reporting something wrong with his wife.

Initially, her death was thought to be a freak accident, as she was believed to have been trapped when the lawnmower overturned. However, two months later, the police have officially declared it a murder investigation.

Robert Crawford, who was not initially considered a suspect, is now under scrutiny after it was discovered that he had relationships with women around the world through dating apps and work-related travel. Police are contacting these women for more information.

It was also revealed that the police had visited the couple in the summer of 2023 following a domestic violence report. Furthermore, Frances Crawford's belongings were recently removed from their home and the property was listed on Airbnb, showcasing the house and garden where she was found dead. Several guests have already stayed at the house, with positive reviews.
