Croatia to Hold Presidential Election for 8th Time

The election is anticipated to be a competition between the current President supported by the SDP, Milanovic, and the former Minister of Education backed by the HDZ, Primorac.
In addition to Milanovic and Primorac, candidates from the 'Mozemo' alliance Ivana Kekin, from the 'Most' alliance Miro Bulj, Branka Lozo from the Homeland''s Movement Party, and independent candidates Niko Tokic Kartelo, Marija Selak Raspudic, and Tomislav Jonjic will also compete in the election.
The official results of the election are expected to be announced on the night of December 29. The first round will be held tomorrow, and if none of the candidates exceeds the 50% threshold, the top two candidates will compete in the second round on January 12.
