ipswich - A couple in England walked around for days with the body of a 2-year-old toddler in a stroller.

Scott Jeff broke several bones of his partner's two-year-old daughter, kicked her, and ultimately killed her. The violence began during a vacation with mother Chelsea Gleason-Mitchell in Norfolk, England. The man wanted to 'punish' little Isabella for wetting her pants. He concealed her injuries with a puffer jacket and sunglasses. The victim ultimately died on June 26 last year after being kicked 'with great force,' the judge said.

The couple then spent days pushing Isabella's body around in a stroller, going shopping and to the pub, according to Sky News. Surveillance footage shows Jeff and Gleason-Mitchell happily entering various stores. The girl was found a few days after her death in a locked toilet in the temporary shelter of the homeless couple. Traces of cocaine and cannabis were found in her body.

The judge criticized the 'weak and spineless' mother for allowing the violence. 'You were so concerned about your own comfort and maintaining a relationship with this man that you allowed everything, including the terrible attacks on your daughter.' Gleason-Mitchell sent a Facebook message to her friend Joanne Gardner at the end of June last year, claiming Isabella had died in her sleep. She didn't want to call the police about the bruises on her daughter's body, fearing her partner would be held responsible. The friend sensed something was wrong and alerted the emergency services.

Thomas Wheildon, Isabella's father, is inconsolable. 'She was the best part of my life,' he said in court. 'I miss her every day. She was perfect, but now her dreams will never come true. I will never experience her first day of school.'
