Price Hike for Climbing Mount Everest
Starting from September, the Nepalese government will significantly increase the fees for foreigners to climb Mount Everest during the peak months. During the winter months, from December to February, the mountain sees fewer climbers, resulting in lower permit costs. Permits for this period will start at $3750, marking a 35% increase. For the months of September, October, and November, the permit fee will double to $7500.
