Clint Hill, the personal bodyguard of Jackie Kennedy after JFK's election victory in 1960, was right behind the presidential limousine in Dallas on November 22, 1963. When Lee Harvey Oswald opened fire, Hill reacted swiftly, shielding Jackie Kennedy with his body.
After the tragic event, Hill received recognition for his bravery and later became the Deputy Director of the Secret Service. Despite his successful career, the memory of Kennedy's death haunted him, leading to his retirement in 1975. Hill authored several books on his experiences, including the bestseller 'Mrs. Kennedy and Me'.
