Prisoner Exchange and Ceasefire Deal
Israel announced that some of the Palestinian detainees to be released as part of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement will be sent out of the country due to security concerns. However, the destination countries for these detainees have not made any official statements yet.
List of Prisoners
Israel highlighted that most of the detainees accused of killing Israelis will be permanently deported from the country after being released, aiming to reduce potential security risks.
Delay in Ceasefire
Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that the ceasefire will be delayed until he receives the list of hostages that Hamas plans to release today.
Prisoner Handover
According to Israeli government decisions, the first day of the agreement is expected to involve the exchange of prisoners after 16:00 local time. Israeli health authorities have prepared hospitals to receive Israeli prisoners after their handover by the Red Cross.
