In Xinzhu city, a parked car fell into a sinkhole created by a sudden collapse of the road. Mayor Guo Yuanzhang stated that the incident was caused by the lack of proper infrastructure.

Initial investigations revealed that an unauthorized construction in the area led to the collapse. Mayor Guo Yuanzhang mentioned that neglect in maintaining the steel beams of the infrastructure caused the ground to cave in.
