london - A grim discovery in East London as the body of a 24-year-old woman was found in the trunk of a car, suspected to belong to the person who killed her, her 23-year-old husband.
In a grim discovery in East London, the body of a 24-year-old woman, identified as Indian national Harshita Brella, was found in the trunk of a car, nearly 160 kilometers from her home. The autopsy revealed that she had been strangled.
Brella had moved to the United Kingdom in April, where she married Pankaj Lamba. He is now the primary suspect in the murder case. The young woman had been a victim of domestic violence for some time, with Lamba facing a restraining order in September for assaulting his wife. Moreover, Brella had fled their home a month before her tragic death.
Brella's family alleges that Lamba's suspicions were fueled by her frequent communication with her mother and her failure to cook on time. These claims supposedly contributed to Brella's tragic demise. Her family hopes to bring her body back to India, stating, 'If her soul finds peace, maybe we will too,' according to her father.
