birmingham - An amusement ride collapsed in the British city of Birmingham, injuring eleven people. Two women were taken to the hospital.
On Thursday, emergency responders rushed to Centenary Square in Birmingham following reports of an issue with one of the rides at the city center's fair. The West Midlands Police confirmed the incident.
The accident involved the 'City Flyer', a swing carousel at a height of 55 meters. The attraction is similar to the Night Watch Flyer at Plopsaland and the Wave Swinger at Walibi.
