Kenyatta re-leader Kenya after controversial election

The 56-year-old Uhuru Kenyatta was installed for the second time as president of East African Kenya on Tuesday.

Kenyatta is a son of the Kenyan 'Father of the Fatherland', Jomo Kenyatta (1897-1978). He belongs to the Kikuyu, the largest population group that accounts for about one-sixth of the nearly 50 million inhabitants.

Kenyatta won the presidential election in August, but the results were successfully challenged in court by Odinga. That is why the elections in October had to be over. Kenyatta then won big, as Odinga's support boycotted the ballot box.
