Homeless deposited in German garbage truck

A 41-year-old homeless person sustained life-threatening injuries because he had fallen asleep in Nuremberg, Germany, in a container with waste paper.

When the car drove away, a garbage collector suddenly heard someone calling for help in the cargo space. The vehicle stopped and, after some investigation, staff found the seriously injured man. According to the police, he had probably crept into the container at night to protect himself from the low temperatures.
