Abdeslam also for Belgian judge

Terrorist suspect Salah Abdeslam must be responsible for the Belgian judge for the shooting in Brussels last year in March involving three agents.

Abdeslam is in a French cell for his role in the November 2015 attacks. The 27-year-old Frenchman is in favor of attempted murder in a terrorist context and forbidden possession of weapons with co-accused Soufien A.

A Belgian-French police team was shot a Kalashnikov one week before the attacks in Brussels on March 22, 2016 when it wanted a search in the Brussels municipality of Vorst. A policeman shot dead the Algerian terrorist Mohamed Belkaid, but Abdeslam and A. managed to escape. Both were arrested three days later in the nearby municipality of Molenbeek.

The shooting was reconstructed in January. Now it is clear that there will be a lawsuit in Belgium. A first procedural meeting may take place next month.
